Day by Day Itinerary
Half Day: Cathedral, Qoricancha, and Incan Ruins
We pick you up from your hotel between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM. We begin our tour at the Cusco Cathedral, renowned for its exquisite colonial art and architecture. Next, we walk to Qoricancha, the most important religious center of the Inca Empire, upon which the Convent of Santo Domingo was built. We then board our transport and head to the outskirts of the city to explore the impressive megalithic fortress of Saqsayhuaman, known for its enormous zigzagging stone walls. We continue to the ceremonial center of Q'enqo, with its subterranean altars.
